As an Territory Manager for Umano Medical, you are responsible for selling Umano Medical’s products to new and existing customers in Texas (Houston area).
What makes this role special is that you can use your strategic sales skills to challenge different thinking perspectives and be involved in high-level discussions with key stakeholders at hospitals. You will utilize your excellent relationship building, negotiating, and technical skills to be successful in this role.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and maintain product knowledge and value-added selling skills in accordance with established expectations and standards.
  • Train and educate key target customers to enhance knowledge and optimize use of Umano medical products while creating selling opportunities
  • Developing knowledge of the customer demonstrated through continuous efforts to exceed their expectations.
  • Develop business relationships with key decision makers, to expedite business opportunities
  • Prospect for new business opportunities for sales growth in assigned territory and increase customer base
  • Contract Management: Participate RFP/contract process for individual hospitals or buying groups for large hospital contacts (multiyear, multimillion-dollar bids).
  • Maintenance of business base and continuous development of new business opportunities
  • Establish long-term account development strategies
  • Attend major national convention and local/regional meetings as determined by sales management
  • Meet reporting requirements by line manager and business unit.
  • Ability to travel within territory: 40-50%

PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor of Science or administration
  • Minimum of 3-5 years hospital/medical products
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Detail, results, and task oriented
  • Superior analytical and organizational skills with effective time management skills
  • Computer literate in a Windows Environment, and experience with computerized sales administration system
