As a Regional Sales Manager you will be responsible for growing a sales team in the Northwestern area. You will use your strategic sales skills to challenge different thinking perspectives and be involved in high-level discussions with key stakeholders at hospitals.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

Management of the sales team:

  • Manage independent sales representatives in Region by coaching, motivating, developing and training them on our sales process and products.
  • Build a talented sales team in Region
  • Manage the sales process with independent sales representatives to ensure sales opportunities are made across the full range of Umano Medical products as well as future products under development.
  • Constantly motivate and drive the performance of the sales team with weekly sales meetings and monthly review meetings through) strong leadership.
  • Develop and implement sales plans to ensure sales targets and revenues are met by independent sales representatives.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, semi-annual goals and provide reports as required.

 

Sales strategy and market / customer development:

  • Territory development by identifying and evaluating sales opportunities, potential contracts, shows, customer prospecting and by hiring and evaluating representatives.
  • Work closely with the Director of Sales on Umano Medical's sales lines and strategies and vision for growth in the US market.
  • In collaboration with the Director of Sales apply our sales strategies and establish winning tactics for each of our products to ensure consistency and loyalty from our customers.
  • Position Umano Medical products against competitors to maximize added value for our customers.
  • Share with the Director of Sales the needs of the market to align with the innovation and the added value of our products to increase target sales growth.
  • Positive Management with respect for the various internal and external resources (InSide Sales, MSI, Umano Medical marketing, GPO, etc.) to maximize the efficiency of our sales efforts.
  • Negotiate winning commercial agreements according to the company's objectives.

PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • BAC in marketing, health care administration or relevant training
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as sales management in the medical field with independent and direct sales teams
  • Minimum of 5 Years Capital Healthcare Equipment Sales
  • Knowledge of the Office suite – asset
  • ISO and FDA standards – asset
  • CRM knowledge - asset
