Electrical Designer

As a member of the research and development team, you’ll participate in the electrical and software design of embedded systems for different medical products in addition to developing innovative ideas and solutions in a personalized and proactive patient-oriented approach.

Your challenges

More specifically, this is what your day might look like:

• Design electronic circuits and printed circuit routing
• Design the wiring and harnesses
• Participate in the design of embedded software for different products (high/low level software and user interfaces)
• Design the electronic components
• Participate in prototype production
• Collaborate in the definition and execution of the test plan for products and subsystems
• Search for new technologies (sensors, robotics, etc.)

The skills we’re looking for

• A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant field
• 5 years of relevant experience
• In-depth knowledge of embedded systems and C/C++/C # programming, Linux
• Experience in system architecture
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, RS-232, LIN, USB, WiFi, Bluetooth, Modbus communications
• Experience with VSCode, IAR, CMAKE, arm-none-gcc, doxygen platforms and development tools (an asset)
• Knowledge of CAD (computer-aided design) for electrical diagrams, printed circuit routing (Altium Designer an asset)
• Experience with ARM microcontrollers (an asset)
• In-depth knowledge of laboratory and testing equipment (oscilloscope, multimeter)
• Bilingual
